Sharon Benjamin Hodo was found dead in her Georgia home earlier this week May 27th, but no further details surrounding her death were available as Wenn went to press.
A representative for the Outkast star, real name Andre Benjamin, has since confirmed her passing to editors at Billboard.com.
The rapper’s rep called on fans to carry on supporting Benjamin Hodo’s The Starlight Camp organisation, which helps underprivileged children, instead of sending flowers to mark her passing.
