Leonardo DiCaprio totally channeled The Great Gatsby in a three-piece tuxedo, bow tie, and slicked-back hair, but it seemed like he had one unruly piece that got the best of him throughout the night. While we hate to see him struggle, we’re kind of obsessed with howhe’s obsessed with his hair. We love a boy who’s serious about his beauty game.
CARA DELEVINGNE OUT-SMIZED EVERYONE ON THE RED CARPET
Cara Delevingne, ladies and gentlemen. We know she’s a model and everything, but when she showed up on the Cannes red carpet wearing a body-hugging black lace Burberrygown, side-parted waves, wine-stained lips, and diamonds up the wazoo, she knew she looked good. I mean, she smized so hard in this ensemble, we had a hard time just picking two photos from the entire set. WERK.
‘BLING RING’ LADIES EMMA WATSON AND CLAIRE JULIEN BARED THEIR MIDRIFFS
Emma Watson already put us to shame with her killer airport style upon arriving to Cannes, and yesterday we got to peep her first Bling Ring photo call ensemble, which was equally awe-inducing. She sported a burgundy two-piece Christopher Kane number with feather trim and pointy black pumps. Oddly enough, her co-star Claire Julien also wore a midriff-baring look! She showed off an all-white Balmain halter and skater skirt paired with peep-toe heels, which means, yep, showing skin is officially in, y’all.
FLORENCE WELCH WORE GLAMOROUS PAJAMAS
In an interesting twist of events, Florence Welch decided to channel some seriously cozy sleepwear in her silky black and pink polka dot Miu Miu gown paired with neon yellow and black platforms and a pink handbag. Like, we’d actually wear this outfit to bed. Every night. And look DANG good while doing it.
SOLANGE KNOWLES DROPPED DOWN FROM HEAVEN TO GRACE US WITH HER ANGELIC PRESENCE
Solange Knowles BA-ROUGHT IT in an ethereal, caramel-colored Stephane Rolland gown, which had mini feather wings attached along the train because, duh, she dropped down from heaven in this outfit, y’all. She finished the look with diamond sphere earrings, a silver clutch, and a coral-colored pout.
LANA DEL REY SPORTED A KILLER TWO-TONE GOLD CAT EYE
We can always count on Lana Del Rey to bring a killer retro beauty look to the red carpet, but we were so stunned when we saw her amazingly fresh take on her signature cat eye, we could barely handle it. She extended her traditional liner into sharp winged tips, but then added a swipe of gold along her upper lid to REALLY glam it up. She finished the look with a touch of brown along the crease and tons of thick mascara. Talk about DRAMA!
CINDY CRAWFORD WORKED WINDBLOWN HAIR SO HARD
Just when you thought former House of Style host Cindy Crawford was done with her modeling days, she shows up in a plunging, crisp white Roberto Cavalli gown and SOMEHOW managed to find the exact angle to get the most perfect windblown hair we’ve ever seen and puts us all to shame. *bows down*
CAREY MULLIGAN TOOK A CENTER PART FOR A SPIN
The Great Gatsby star Carey Mulligan gave her blown-back hair a break last night and opted for a super-chic center part. We’ve never seen her sport this look before, and we’re obsessed with how her platinum strands look paired with a bold red lip. Me-ow.
